Let me first say the back is defintely going to annoy people. We received our demo's in our store & it smudges everywhere! Love the feel & weight of the new iphone 3G. It's about 1-2cm wider than the prior model. I confirmed that with my current 2G iphone. Can't wait to start selling these in a few days 
Sucks that I couldn't get the AppStore to launch since we can't activate them until thurs. |

I'm not up to par with my measurements The new one is slightly wider. It did feel comfortable in my hand. One thing I do wish is it had the nice solid weight feel the current one has. |

That's a relief -- I thought I was going to have to have all my shirt pockets widened!
As far as the weight is concerned, if the new iPhone is a bit lighter, it wouldn't bother me. |
