I dont know what its about. But I have explain that in linux you can solve that problem with how to install FirmwireGUID and youll find it under mainly Ubuntu forum talks about it. I can really explain more about that error i just know i solved it when im logged on to linux.

so is this only a problem if you want to transfer your music to your pc? not to download and only use on the iphone? i don't understand if it is a problem for the iphone or a problem on using it with your pc.

downloads are pretty fast by the way. i am downloading nas - hip hop is dead at 45kbs.

yea it have to do with sync your iphone/ipod touch to the computer. Now im right now trying my hardest to find a workaround for the problem people not find there stuff. Someone said they made a folder gave it permissions and it worked I tried and no-go. I even checked the permissions on the application it self. But killed the phone now in a restore and im goin to try again. I know I didnt have to do half the stuff that im trying for windows thank god I sync mine on Linux cause i hate windows. But I thought it was a great application sorry about the problems right now guys. Even they developer of the application has a few comments about that problem. Hopefully he will take care of the problem quick its still under beta so thats what you get for now.

i found this

"Your Firewire GUID couldn’t be recognized and therefore music importing will not be available.

To solve this issue, you will need to do some hacking.

To learn how to connect to your iPhone and or iPod touch see this post.

Log in to your iPhone or iPod touch with SSH and do the following:

1) check if you have “ioreg” binary in /usr/bin/ directory
2) If not download it from here and upload it to /usr/bin
3) chmod 755 /usr/bin/ioreg
4) run chown mobile:mobile /Applications/iSlsk.app/
5) run chown mobile:mobile /Applications/iSlsk.app/*
6) Download libncurses.5.dylib from here and upload only libncurses.5.dylib to /usr/lib

7) run chmod 777 /usr/lib/lib*

IF you still can’t get it to work i suggest waiting for the next release.

Thanks to the original creator Errrick who’s website you can consult here."
