What is this about?
This is an up-to-date list of apps launched through iApp-a-Day. Enjoy a new app everyday for a month!
These apps can be accessed by visiting installing the iApp-a-Day source through Installer, or by visiting iappaday.com/install on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Feel free to add and edit this list.
The List
Bonus Day:
Pumpkin - A jack-o-lantern face that rolls around as you move your iPhone.
Day 1:
Magic - An 8-ball fortune teller. Ask your questions out loud, turn your iPhone upside down and your fortune will be revealed! You can then tap on the 8-ball, and enter your own fortune. It will then be added to the master database, which automatically downloads to your iPhone every time you start the program.
Day 2:
Fall - It's fall, shake the leaves off the tree! Get them all off and you'll get a surprise!
Day 3:
Melt - How quickly can you make the ice cubes disappear? Also has global stats so that you can compare your score to others!
Day 4:
Burp - Help solve world hunger - share your food! Simply snap a picture of what you’re eating, rank it as naughty or nice (you can decide if that means healthy or tasty or nice looking or whatever), and it uploads the pic to share with everyone else.
Day 5:
Pumped - Today’s app is a fuel tracker. You can input the price per gallon of gas, how many gallons you pumped, and what your odometer says at the time. Do that for awhile and you’ll develop a running total of gas used, average miles per gallon, and a few other stats.
Day 6:
Poke - Today is Election Day here in the United Stated, so to celebrate, so who better to pick on than the one person we can be sure will never be president again.
Day 7:
Graffiti - Simply leave a message on the brick wall and it’ll be seen by everyone else. The position and rotation is stored with the message, so your text is at approximately the same place on everyone’s wall. (The color and size varies randomly.) Only a handful of messages are stored at one time, so the wall is ever-changing.
Day 8:
Uncle - Uncle is a tribute to the man, the legend, the religious icon: Steve Jobs. What better way to honor him than with an iPhone app? And what better iPhone app than smiling Steve as a bobble head. He may even talk to you if you're lucky.
Day 9:
Whisper - This app lets you share a secret with the world - and if you listen closely, you’ll hear everyone else’s secrets, too.
Day 10:
Quest - It’s a bit like Burp - but with a more general purpose. Can you find and photograph the missions’ objectives? Have fun!
Day 11:
Rose - Very simple but looks kind of pretty.
Day 12:
Scribble - A fun drawing toy where you use the tilt sensors to draw.
Day 13:
Interval - Calculate the time between two dates.
Day 14:
Panic - Don't have your headphones on...
Day 15:
Midterm - Halfway done, combines a few of the other apps together in one.
Day 16:
Elmo - Great for the kids!
Day 17:
Collage - Work together to make something great.
Day 18:
Level - Very useful, for all housework and handymen alike.
