Generally, it is the whole movie and will be the largest title available from the tree-structured directory. You can preview it in the preview window so that you can know whether it is the movie part. For better video quality and smaller file size, we must adjust video settings.
- Higher bitrate and framerate bring better video quality and bigger file size; our eyes cannot tell the difference obviously if the bitrate and framerate is high enough. So it is wise to low the bitrate and framerate to a certain level. You can adjust the settings in this window. Human eyes can hardly distinguish the video quality if the frame rate is higher than 20 fps. Higher frame rate only brings bigger file size.
- If you only want to convert a certain fragment of the DVD movie, you can trim it by clicking the “Trim” button in the top of the window. You can drag the cursors to set the start time and end time in order to define the output segment.
- If you want to turn a widescreen movie to non-widescreen, you can crop the scene. Click the “Crop” button and a window like this will appear; Drag the frame on the around to define the output area. Note that, you will lose some part of the scene if you crop.
- You can also adjust the video effect in the effect window. Adjust the saturation, contrast, brightness and volume.
